analytics cookies, on the US site or any other locale.

Local storage only

The Site uses browser localStorage for a single purpose:

• `bml-theme` — stores your chosen theme (`light` or `dark`). If

the key is absent, your operating-system preference is used.

Calculator inputs are not stored — refreshing the page resets them.

The value we write is the string `"light"` or `"dark"`; nothing else.

This value stays on your device. We never receive it.

No third-party tracking

There are no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, or

advertising tags on this site at the time of writing. Because we do

not place any cookie that requires consent under the **California

Consumer Privacy Act**, the Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah,

Texas, Oregon, or Montana state privacy laws, or any other US state

law, no cookie banner is shown.

If that ever changes, we will update this page and, where required,

request consent before placing any such cookie or tag.

Clearing data

You can clear the `bml-theme` entry at any time via your browser's

site-data settings. Doing so simply resets the theme to your OS

preference on the next page load. You can also send the

Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser — we

honor it as a valid opt-out signal, though it has nothing to opt

out of on this Site today.
