- A disclaimer: "Educational use only. Estimates only — verify with a
  qualified professional before acting."
- An escalation banner for tools that touch regulated territory (gas,
  electrics, structural work, drainage to a public sewer, Building
  Regulations) directing readers to Gas Safe engineers, NICEIC
  electricians, or chartered structural engineers as appropriate.
- Sources and methodology. Formulas are shown so the maths is auditable.

## What this site does NOT do

- Does not collect user input server-side. All calculations are client-side.
- Does not set cookies. Does not run analytics, pixels, or third-party trackers.
- Does not provide advice on regulated activities (gas, electrics,
  structural, financial, legal). Readers are directed to qualified
  professionals.
